Hi all,
I will be running a trip to Neerim South. The main idea for this trip is to explore.
The trip should just consist of meeting at a local point on Saturday, going for a drive to see the tracks and other camp spots and finally settling in one for the night, then a short drive out on the Sunday. This can be run on as a day trip for those who are so inclined. (we will just stop on a main road for those that want to leave early).
As this is a mainly exploratory mission I cannot guarantee the difficulty of the tracks but the goal will be to try to gauge it for the members that attend. However, please keep in mind that some of the tracks may be a little tight, again not too sure but that’s apart of the adventure!!

Terrain
–Track Classification Guidelines – Planed difficulty – Easy, Medium, Difficult. Trip will be to attendees ability. Its exploration we will see what’s happens!!
– Planed Terrains – Mud, Sand, Clay (Neerim south type terrain)
Minimum Requirements– A UHF radio, either handheld or vehicle mounted.- Your own recovery gear, consisting of at least a rated snatch strap and two rated shackles (soft or hard).- At least one rated recovery point on the front and back of your vehicle. A personal first aid kit.
Camping – Overnight Camp for those wanting to stay bush overnight. ( Campsite approximately 5:00 pm)
