Valencia Creek 4×4 Trip
A relaxed exploratory 4wd trip entering the bush alongside the Valencia Creek. Looking at the maps I expect that this will be a medium grade trip which allows for possible soggy conditions. Planning on heading north and exploring several tracks and campsites in the area. Sunday we will turn east and head to the Avon Wilderness and Golden Point Hut, possibly pushing right through to the Licola Road.
Camping
Friday night at one of three camp spots on Valencia Creek (just past the Valencia Creek Picnic Area) and Saturday night at one of the camp spots we will pass through.
Meeting Point
Attendees can either camp Friday night on the creek or join us prior to 10am Saturday morning at the camp site
Directions
The area we will enter is north of Brialogalong. I will be able to send a pin of exact location of Friday nights camp to attendees.
Trip Grading
Anticipated to be Medium which allows for some rain. However, depending on vehicles attending and appetite we might look for something harder if all too easier.
Recovery Gear
Normal recovery gear and first aid kit needed. Mud tyres advisable but not essential.
Dogs
While we may pass through Wilderness areas and National Parks most of the time we will be in State Parks
